Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Department of Electronics and Automation, Electronics Technology Program students made a technical visit to the Burdur Sugar Factory on December 8, 2025, accompanied by Instructor Dr. Ahmet Rıfat GÖRGÜN. Burdur Sugar Factory has a daily sugar beet processing capacity of 5320 tons. In order to meet the energy needs of the factory, the power plant established generates electricity with two Siemens steam turbines, one with a capacity of 6.40 MWm and the other with a capacity of 4.80 MWm. During the technical visit, all electrical and electronic systems of the factory, especially the power plant, were examined. In addition, all production processes from beginning to end were explained in detail by Chemical Engineer Onur Çimen.
