Machine Program

It is a technical program that provides education and training to ensure that students are qualified to work in their respective sectors in areas such as R&D, quality control, production, sales, and marketing. Students in the Machinery Program earn an associate degree after completing a two-year program and receive the title of “Technician.”

Fields of Work for Mechanical Engineering Graduates

Graduates of the Mechanical Engineering program find employment opportunities in many fields, including Manufacturing and Production Industry, Maintenance and Repair, Quality Control and Testing, CAD/CAM and Design, Automotive and Defense Industry, Energy and Heating Systems, Project and R&D Units, Public Institutions and Municipalities, Education and Laboratories.

ISUBÜ Vocational School of Technology and Applied Sciences Mechanical Engineering Program

Isparta University of Applied Sciences Technical Sciences Vocational School ISUBU Technical Sciences Vocational School Department of Mechanical and Metal Technologies Mechanical Engineering Program has been accepting students since the 2009-2010 academic year.

The program course contents have been updated for the 2024-2025 academic year, and courses on current topics such as “Professional Foreign Language” and “Environmental Protection” have been added to the program curriculum. Click here for the department course contents page.

Our program includes “Vocational Training in the Workplace,” which consists of three semesters of classroom instruction and a fourth semester of workplace training. Detailed information about Vocational Training in the Workplace can be found on the Isparta University of Applied Sciences Vocational Schools Coordination web page (meyok.isparta.edu.tr).

Purpose

Machine Program This associate degree program aims to train intermediate personnel for the Machine and Manufacturing sector. ISUBU TBMYO Machine Program objectives are defined as follows:

Enhancing practical education by supplementing theoretical knowledge with hands-on training; Developing students' technological skills by preparing educational programs aligned with technological advancements and industry needs; Identifying machine and hydraulic-pneumatic system components, determining manufacturing methods for design, performing strength calculations, and carrying out maintenance and repairs; Possess technical drawing reading and drafting skills and be able to draw 2D or 3D models using CAD software, perform design, analysis, and simulation, recognize materials, and develop the ability to design based on knowledge of the physical and mechanical behavior of materials; Possess knowledge of professional ethics, occupational health and safety, first aid, and environmental risks; be able to organize work for individual or team efforts; carry out activities related to quality assurance and standards in the field; Develop professional foreign language skills to a level sufficient for the field; Encourage students to participate in practical applications and solution-oriented work on industry-related projects.
