Electric Program

The Electrical Program provides training, instruction, and practical work in Basic Electricity, Electrical Power Systems, Electrical Machinery, and PLC Laboratories to cultivate intermediate personnel with sufficient knowledge in electrical matters for all sectors and organizations requiring technical services. Additionally, the program offers specialized training in Factory Maintenance and Manufacturing, as well as Transmission, Distribution, and Installation Technician fields.

Fields of Work for Electrical Engineering Graduates

Current organizations where graduates can work include the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the General Directorate of Petroleum Affairs (PİGM), the Mining Research and Exploration Institute (MTA), Electricity Affairs Study Administration (EIE), EÜAŞ, TEİAŞ, TEDAŞ, DSİ, TKİ, TTK, TPAO, BOTAŞ, TÜPRAŞ, and TAEK. In addition, due to Turkey's position as an energy corridor in the north-south and east-west directions, it is possible to add energy technician positions that will be involved in the work to be done. Our graduates receive the title of electrical technician. Professionals can work in public and private institutions, as well as independently. They can work in institutions such as Turkey Electricity Distribution Inc., Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, State Water Works, Machine Chemistry Institute, General Directorate of Rural Services, and various ministries, primarily the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
