Our college was established by the decision of the Higher Education Council dated December 7, 2007, in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880. Furthermore, by the decision of the Higher Education Council dated March 13, 2008, and numbered 07266, the programs affiliated with the Technical Programs Department within the Isparta Vocational College were transferred to our college.


With the decision taken at the meeting of the Higher Education Executive Board on 15.04.2009, in accordance with Articles 7/d-2 and 4/b of Law No. 2547, amended by Law No. 2880, In the 2009–2010 academic year, the names of the departments and programs were changed, and instead of the Technical Programs Department of our college, the following nine (9) departments were established: Construction Department, Electrical and Energy Department, Electronics and Automation Department, Handicrafts Department, Architecture and Urban Planning Department, Visual and Audio Techniques and Media Production Department, Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Leather Department, the Machine and Metal Technologies Department, and the Computer Technologies Department.

Our college, while part of Süleyman Demirel University, was established under Article 7 of Law No. 7141, published in the Official Gazette dated May 18, 2018, and numbered 30425, “Law Amending the Higher Education Law and Certain Laws and Decrees with the Force of Law,” and was transferred to Isparta University of Applied Sciences, established by Article 7 of the same law, pursuant to Transitional Article 51 added to Law No. 2809 by Article 8 of the same law.


Our college currently continues to provide education with 13 departments and 19 programs under these departments.
