Photography and Camerawork Program
The Photography and Camerawork Program was established in 2012 under the Department of Audio-Visual Techniques and Media Production at Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Technical Sciences Vocational School.
Mission and Vision
Mission: To be a unit committed to universal values, ethics, and openness to change, providing students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to become ideal media professionals.
Vision: To be a value-producing department that follows developments in its field with its knowledge, practice, and technical expertise.
Education and Training
The purpose of the Photography and Camerawork Program is to train qualified students who can provide photography and camerawork services in light of contemporary and scientific methods. The department maintains an organic bond with the media sector and raises students who follow current and technological developments, take an active role in informing the public, are equipped with professional ethics, and are masters of application processes.
Students are admitted to the program based on the TYT score type.
In the 3+1 education system, students equipped with knowledge and skills receive training for 3 semesters at school and one semester in a business; following the two-year Associate Degree education, graduates receive the title of "Photography and Camera Technician".

Career Opportunities for Graduates
Graduates of the Photography and Camerawork program can benefit from employment opportunities in required fields such as advertising, production, television, cinema, and press and publication, as well as in the public relations and promotion departments of private and public institutions. Graduates can also open their own businesses and operate in areas such as photography and advertising.
