The Unit Advisory Board Meeting, organized by the Vocational School of Technical Sciences, was successfully held with the participation of sector representatives, academics, and relevant stakeholders. Hosted by our school, the meeting served as a platform for important exchange of views and decisions regarding the development of academic programs. Our School Director, Dr. Hakan YÜKSEL, who chaired the meeting, emphasized the necessity of university-sector collaboration and stated that they are continuing their efforts to better equip our students for the future. Our Director also noted that the suggestions received from the advisory board members will add a new vision to our school. During the meeting, the current curricula of our school's departments were evaluated in line with sectoral needs; sector representatives expressed their views on increasing the employability of our graduates. Improvements such as expanding internship opportunities and strengthening technological infrastructure were discussed. At the end of the meeting, decisions were made to establish an effective communication mechanism among the unit advisory board members, and it was announced that the next meeting will be held in the Spring semester. As the Vocational School of Technical Sciences, we declare that we will continue to strengthen our ties with the sector and take steps to support the professional future of our students.
