Students of the TBMYO Machinery and Metal Technologies Department, Machine Program, had the opportunity to see the theoretical lessons they learned in practice during a technical trip guided by their advisors. The trip included visits to Askon Iron and Steel and ÇAĞ-TEK, both located in the Çardak Organized Industrial Zone in Denizli.

The students in the Mechanical Engineering Program began their trip with Askon Iron and Steel, a company with over 90 years of industrial and commercial experience in the iron and steel industry, serving our country and the world. During the trip, the students were presented with a presentation by the company's human resources representatives, outlining the company's introduction and expectations for graduate students. Following this, they took a site tour accompanied by the factory production manager. The company is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for both machining and welding, allowing the students to observe these devices up close.

The trip continued with ÇAĞ-TEK, a company that manufactures technical products containing high-strength fabric and rubber. The specialized nature of both the products manufactured at the company and their intended uses provided a truly diverse experience for the Mechanical Program students. During the site visit, the factory production manager accompanied our students, and afterward, a company representative answered our students' questions on topics such as the market position of Mechanical Technicians and the expectations of Mechanical Technicians during recruitment.

The students and faculty who participated in this trip had the opportunity to follow current developments in practice, emphasizing that "it shouldn't just be theory, it should be seen in practice." We would like to thank ÇAĞ-TEK and Askon Iron and Steel for hosting our students and faculty.
